Transfer from Stari Grad port
to Sveta Nedjelja.

A private transfer from Stari Grad port to Sveta Nedjelja takes about 35 minutes for roughly 25 km. We drive over to Hvar's south wine coast — either through the Pitve tunnel or via the newly opened Dubovica coast road — with dockside pickup and a fixed fare agreed first.

The drive

The drive crosses to the sunny south side of the island under the steep slopes of Sv. Nikola — the highest peak on Hvar — into the Plavac Mali wine country around Sveta Nedjelja. There are now two ways in: the single-lane Pitve–Zavala tunnel from the east, or the recently opened coastal road down past Dubovica from the west, and we take whichever is running best that day.

Local driver note

For years the one-lane Pitve tunnel was the only way onto this coast; now the Dubovica road adds a second, more scenic approach, and knowing which to take on a busy day is exactly what a local driver gets right. The cellars below Sveta Nedjelja, around Zlatan Otok / Plenković country, are worth adding if you have time.
